We collect stones every year and they are still new. Where do the stones in the field come from?

He works a lot in excavations. There are areas where stones do not overlap. And where the top layer of earth is clay with water veins, stones form there. Very often I hit a stone with a spade that I can cut through. The one consisting of separate crystals. So, from my observation, stones are formed and it does not take millions of years

Our editors say this very wisely. Freezing of the ground and pushing upwards is ok… But frosting is up to 1 m in this layer, there is a finite amount of it and for millions of years there shouldn’t have been any of it. Moreover, there is also frost in Africa?

I have two piles of such stones behind the barn, the first is my grandfather’s, the second is my father’s and the third is under construction

“We collect stones every year and there are still new ones. Where do the stones in the field come from?” – but the editor is naive 😉 Most often it is the neighbor’s fault who throws stones from his plot through the border. This is what our grandparents did, this is what our fathers did and this is what we usually do 😀
