After a slightly delayed start, work on the construction of the new Joskin plant in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg has started in full swing. It will be a place for the assembly of large shell dump trucks and manure spreaders.
The site for the construction of the factory is located in two communes (Sanem and Esch-sur-Alzette), which required obtaining two sets of building permits and, as a result, delayed the commencement of works by almost a year, which could only start in December 2023.
Start of production in the new Joskin factory planned for the third quarter of 2025
After erecting the roof truss in the western hall building and erecting walls made of Hebel panels, the contractors started installing the roof covering. Laying insulation and waterproofing should start in mid-June this year.
Completion of construction works (closed and roofed buildings, completed façade) is scheduled for the end of October 2024, and installation works of the main equipment (surface treatment lines) are scheduled to begin in January 2025. The factory launch date is planned for the third quarter of 2025 .

Almost 16 thousand m² under the roof
The new Joskin production facility is being built on a plot of 6.2 ha (of which 1.4 ha is green areas), and its area is 15,800 m².
Construction work at the Luxembourg plant is being carried out by Ramaekers Construction, a Walloon construction company based in Chimay, with which Joskin has cooperated many times in the past, including during the construction of plants in Soumagne, Belgium, Poland and France.
