Prices for Danish weaners continue to rise. This is the fourth week of increases

Quotations on the Danish stock exchange for weaners have once again brought increases. Over the last four weeks, rates have increased by over PLN 40/pcs.

The Danish weaner stock exchange brought further increases

Prices for Danish weaners continue to rise. This is the fourth week of increases. During this time, the rates for fattening animals on the Danish stock exchange increased by approximately PLN 43/piece.

Weaner pigs with a negative PRRS status were valued at DKK 670.00/piece, and pigs with a positive PRRS status at DKK 660.00/piece. The rates apply to weaners weighing 30 kg.

Compared to the prices from the same period last year (week 10), the current prices for weaners are DKK 50/piece higher. In turn, compared to last week, the current rates are higher by 10 DKK/pcs, i.e. by approx. PLN 5.80 (after taking into account changes in exchange rates, the difference is approx. PLN 5.70/pcs).

Current rates for Danish weaners (29/02/2024)

The rate for weaners with negative PRRS status is: DKK 670.00/pcs, i.e. PLN 388.20/pcs., compared to PLN 382.47/pcs. last week.

The rate for weaners with a positive PRRS status is: DKK 660.00/pcs, i.e. PLN 382.40/pcs., compared to PLN 376.68/pcs. last week.

The rate for weaners with conventional status is DKK 635.00/pcs, i.e. PLN 367.92/pcs., compared to PLN 362.19/pcs. last week.

1 DKK = PLN 0.5794 (according to NBP of February 29, 2024)

These rates will be valid in Denmark for the next week.

Please note that the above rates include a bonus for the weaner producer and, in the case of import, also transport costs.
