Lemken Solitair DT is a light, effective and easy-to-use seeder

Low draft requirement, integrated compact disc harrow, comfortable operation and large tank – these are the main features of the Solitair DT trailed seed drill combination from LEMKEN. The machine is available in working widths of 4, 6 or 9 m.

Large tanks and a well-thought-out cultivation concept

Solitary DT it can be equipped with a single or divided tank with large capacities: from 3,400 to 5,100 l, which ensures high work efficiency. Models with a split hopper can be used to sow seeds with fertilizer or to sow two different seeds in one pass.

The Solitair DT cultivating and seeding combination is equipped with a compact disc harrow that leaves the soil evenly loosened and well crumbled. Each 465 mm diameter fluted disc is individually attached to the frame with leaf springs, ensuring precise depth control. The working depth of the disc section is adjusted hydraulically from the tractor cabin. Optionally, a front tire roller can be used in front of the disc section, which ensures initial compaction and leveling of the soil, or a hydraulically adjustable leveling drag, which is recommended for work on plowed soils.

The rear tire roller with wheels with a diameter of 90 cm ensures even soil compaction over the entire surface. The alternating arrangement of individual wheels further improves self-cleaning and ensures good sowing even in humid conditions. If targeted row compaction is required directly in front of the seed coulters, a trapezoidal packer roller can be mounted behind the wheels. The roller maintains the guiding depth of the seed bar, which is able to follow the profile even in deeply loosened soil, e.g. after plowing. Pressure – up to 333 kg/m, can be steplessly adjusted from the tractor terminal.

Fast sowing, good emergence with OptiDisc coulters

Solitair DT is equipped with parallelogram-guided OptiDisc double-disc coulters with pressure rollers, which guarantees precise seed placement and optimal conditions for uniform emergence. . The coulter pressure and the placement depth can be set independently of each other. This ensures that the seeds are always placed exactly at the same depth, even at high driving speeds and on different soils. The coulter pressure adjustment system is available in hydraulic version (up to 70 kg of coulter pressure) or mechanical version (up to 45 kg of coulter pressure).

It is also worth noting that the machine uses individually driven sowing units, each of which delivers seeds to one distributor. The seed wheel sets can be replaced easily and quickly – without the use of tools. Whether you want to perform a calibration test, adjustment or cleaning – corrosion-resistant seeding units are readily available.

Precise sowing of fertilizer and seeds in the ISOBUS standard

Solitair DT is a seeder compatible with the ISOBUS standard, which allows it to be connected to the tractor’s installation and operated from its terminal. If the tractor is not compatible with the ISOBUS system, the machine can be equipped with one of two available computers: CCI 800 or CCI 1200 with a set of installation cables.

When looking at the controller, it is worth mentioning that the machine can operate in the automatic control mode of individual sections for sowing fertilizer and seeds. The Multiboom function is used for this purpose. This technology prevents the duplication of sowing of material in places where a pass has already been made. It is also possible to process two seeding maps in parallel, thanks to which seeds and fertilizer are applied only where they can be used effectively. Therefore, in the case of the LEMKEN Solitair DT unit, cost-effective precision farming technologies are fully available.
