A new version of the Landini Lanpower tractor is entering our market and to present, among others, As a versatile machine, it was presented at the last Kielce fair in a version intended for forest work.
Landini Landpower consists of two models, 160 and 180, with a long wheelbase and, above all, with 6-cylinder engines, which is a fundamental issue for many customers.
For farmers who need a large tractor without too much electronics
Tractors from the Italian manufacturer Landini from the Landpower series are equipped with a turbocharged FPT NEF 67 Stage V engine with a capacity of 6.7 l, maximum power of 155 (165 with EPM) and 166 HP (175 HP with EPM) and maximum torque of 652 (676 with EPM). ) and 700 Nm, achieved already at 1,400 rpm.
– A tractor without unnecessary electronics, for customers who need a large tractor for the main work on the farm – plowing, working with cultivating and sowing units, i.e. tasks that require a large wheelbase, but do not need advanced technologies, because a large number of gears switched under load, a clutch “in the lever” and an electro-hydraulic reverser are sufficient equipment – explained Hubert Gortad, sales specialist at Agrojurek, which distributes Landini tractors.
The above-mentioned large number of gear ratios is provided by the T-Tronic gearbox with 6 gears, 3 powershift ratios (HML) and three ranges and an electro-hydraulic reverser, which in total gives an impressive number of 54 forward gears and 18 reverse gears.
However, if 54 forward gears are not enough for someone, a transmission with crawling gears is also available, which offers as many as 108 forward and 36 reverse gears, with a minimum creeping speed of 300 m/h.
Landini Landpower 160 with forestry equipment from Agroforest
The last Agrotech fair was held together with the Las-Expo Wood Industry and Forest Resources Management Fair. It was therefore an excellent opportunity to present the Landini Landpower 160 tractor with a structure for forestry work.
It was made by Agroforest from Modliszewice, located in the north of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, which has been dealing with this type of buildings for many years.
– It is a full “cage”, i.e. a complete enclosure of the engine, fuel tank, DPF filter, the entire cabin, with additional LED lighting strips at the front and rear and 8 LED flash lamps. And what’s important is that the entire bottom of the tractor is protected. Additionally, special peepholes are made for servicing activities. Therefore, it is a fully professional structure – further explained the specialist from Agrojurek.
He also added that the presented Agroforest forestry structure is the first one based on a Landini tractor, and Landpower was chosen because, as already partially mentioned, it is a relatively simple and reliable tractor whose equipment is suitable for forestry applications.
The cost of the development presented at the Kielce fair is approximately PLN 40,000. PLN net.

After the fair, the Landini Landpower 160 tractor with the Agroforest body started testing in the Świętokrzyskie forests.
