Kubota is not only tractors. Kubota machines at Agrotech

You probably all know that Kubota offers not only tractors, but also other agricultural machines. It is no secret that the devices for the Japanese brand are manufactured by Kvernaland, a company belonging to the same concern. What could we see from Kubota’s offer at the Agrotech fair?

In addition to tractors of various sizes, at the Kubota stand in Kielce we also saw agricultural machines: a spreader, a plow and a round baler. What are their characteristics?

Geospread spreader

The DSM-W Geospread spreader with scale intended for medium-sized farms does not hide its origin even with its name. This is equipment adapted directly from Kverneland’s offer.

The spreader uses the Geospread system, which controls one-meter sections, with the ability to turn them off even from the middle of the working width, which limits unwanted fertilizer overlap to a minimum.

In addition, the equipment is equipped with four weight sensors and a unique reference sensor that help in precise spreading of fertilizer. Apparently, thanks to the precision of Geospread, combined with automatic dose adjustment, you can save up to 15%. fertilizer.

Kverneland's new products at the Agro Show: cultivators, spreader and sprayer

This also translates into better yields, because there is no lodging effect of cereals in places where fertilizer would be spread twice with a standard spreader.

The machine can be operated by all certified ISOBUS, IsoMatch Tellus PRO or IsoMatch Tellus GO+ terminals.

Kubota’s Geospread is available in models 1100, 1550, 2000, 2450. These numbers correspond to tank capacities in liters. The width of the machine is 220 cm.

BV5160 round baler

The next machine was the BV 5160 round baler, which, together with the BV 5200 machine, constitutes the 5000 series of the Japanese brand. The machines are manufactured in the same factory in Italy as the Kverneland and Vicon presses.

The press is equipped with the patented PowerBind mesh binding and the Intelligent Density 3D system that ensures quick selection of the appropriate baling pressure.

The machines are available with a 2.2 m wide pick-up and 5 rows of tines, various scooping systems, a number of knives to choose from and ISOBUS control. Both models bale bales with a diameter of 0.60 m to 1.65 m, and the BV5200 model even up to 2.00 m. The bale diameter is adjusted using the control terminal.

RM 3005V plow

Kverneland is famous for the production of plows, so Kubota also had them.

There is nothing revolutionary in the RM 3005V series, it is a typical plow for difficult and stony soils. The clearance between the bodies of 85 cm or 100 cm makes it possible to plow regardless of the weather and cultivation conditions.
The Variomat system – Vari-width, which allows you to adjust the plowing width while on the move, certainly helps in your work. 3, 4, 5-furrow models can be expanded with 1 furrow.
