12 Hardi self-propelled sprayers for the Nibulon holding

One of the largest Ukrainian agricultural enterprises, Nibulon, is making spring purchases of machinery. So far, his farms have received, among others: Hardi Alpha self-propelled sprayers, Claas Axion tractors, Horsch Maestro seeders, Kobzarenko tankers and Case IH telehandlers.

The Nibulon company, based in the city of Mykolaiv in southern Ukraine, is another local agro-holding that set out on “small shopping”.

Holding Nibulon invests USD 20 million in new equipment

The purchase of the latest generation equipment – as stated in the press release – is part of the strategy of Nibulon, which is investing USD 20 million in the modernization of its agricultural machinery park this year. The company relies on proven European agricultural machinery manufacturers with excellent technical parameters and a responsible approach to the environment.

In recent days, another delivery of modern agricultural equipment has begun, this time Alpha evo EcoDrive self-propelled sprayers.

– The key principle of agricultural production in our company is saving money with a reasonable approach to agricultural management. An important stage in the implementation of this principle is the timely and accurate use of plant protection products. Hardi sprayers, maximally optimized for productivity and equipped with a precision farming system, will help us achieve our goals, says Oleg Veselov, director of agricultural production at Nibulon.

Alpha evo EcoDrive Delta Force self-propelled sprayer – twelve pieces

The first two – out of a total of 12 units purchased – Danish Alpha evo EcoDrive Delta Force sprayers have already arrived at the Chmielnik farm and are ready for work.

Alpha evo EcoDrive 4200 36 Delta Force sprayers have 6-cylinder Deutz AG engines with a power of 245 HP, liquid tanks with a nominal capacity of 4,200 l (4,500 l maximum) and 36 m wide Delta Force booms with LED lighting.

In addition, they are standardly equipped with PrimeFlow, a system for feeding liquid to the beam under pressure, which guarantees quick pouring and prevents the formation of deposits and clogging. Thanks to this, even when spraying at low pressure, the spray lines are completely emptied (only a small amount remains in them), which means saving water during cleaning.

There is also an AutoNozzleControl automatic nozzle shutdown system, which allows you to turn off some of them when working on headlands and when spraying near sensitive areas. This allows you to save plant protection products, prevents them from getting onto neighboring crops and eliminates the possibility of overlapping spray zones.

The buffalo returns to the fields

Plus several Claas tractors, Horsch seed drills, Kobzarenko tankers and Case IH loaders

Hardi self-propelled sprayers are indispensable equipment in spring, but spring sowing is starting, so the Nibulon holding companies have now received a dozen or so other interesting machines.

These are: six Claas Axion tractors with maximum power up to 410 HP (with Cmatic multifunction joystick, Cemis terminal, GPS Pilot automatic track guidance and Telematics telemetry system), five Horsch Maestro 24 SV 24-row pneumatic seed drills, two Kobzarenko tankers RZS 30 (with a stainless steel tank, reinforced frame and three-axle sprung ADR chassis with a load capacity of 36 tons) and two Case IH Farmlift telehandlers.

The new generation of the Pöttinger Vitasem seeder. What changed?

Holding Nibulon has huge numbers

The Nibulon company is one of the largest taxpayers in Ukraine and employs 6,000 employees. At the beginning of the war with the Russian invader, the Ukrainian holding cultivated 75.6 thousand ha. In 2021, the company exported 5.6 million tons of agricultural products to 34 countries around the world, achieved record profits and significantly reduced debt.

Nibulon exported 62.3 percent. of their products to Asia, 20.7 to African countries, 15.9 to European countries and one percent to North America. In such a wide trade, the investment of USD 600 million in its own modern fleet of 82 ships helps significantly.

Finally, it is worth writing (and this is not an assessment) that compared to such Ukrainian agricultural enterprises as the described Nibulon, one of our largest and most modern farms, i.e. KR Kietrz with approximately 9,000 ha looks pale.

With such disproportions in the scale of agricultural production, it is difficult to compete.
