Machinery manufacturer New Holland has sold its plow factory in Sweden. It was taken over by a German company that will again produce plows under the name Överum.
As we can read on Swedish portals, New Holland is stopping the sale of plows by selling the Swedish factory. The new owner of Överum will be the German company Faircap, already operating in Milan, London and Munich.
This was a strategic decision and only applies to the former Överum plow factory in Sweden. New machines that will leave the factory in the future will be named Överum. The remaining factories taken over by New Holland in 2016, i.e. Kongskilde and JF, remain the property of a company belonging to the CNH group and continue to produce.
Factory employees were informed about the changes last Monday.
