Marcin Gryn, a young farmer from the Zamość region, winner of the Innovative Farmer 2022 competition, now competes with European farmers. The Operational Group “Zamojska Farma”, to which it belongs, may become the best in Europe.
No-plough potato cultivation, deep fertilization, strip-till sowing, care for the soil structure and intensification of biological life in it, all using machines of our own design. This is how, as part of the Innovative Farmer 2022 competition, we presented Marcin Gryn, a young farmer and innovator from the Zamość region.
His farming practices, ingenuity and resourcefulness won the recognition of the Chapter of the Innovative Farmer Competition. Thus, it won first place in the Plant Production category
As you can see, Marcin Gryn does not stop at implementing ideas and raising production standards. His farm, which is included in the “Zamojska Farma” Operational Group, has been nominated for the “EPI-AGRI Innovation Awards 2024”!
The European CAP Network announced the list of 30 nominated projects in the European competition for Operational Groups “EIP-AGRI Innovation Awards 2024”.
Among the nominated projects was the project of the Operational Group from Poland – “Zamojska Farma” (nominated in the category “Business models in food supply chains”).
The aim of the competition is to recognize and reward Innovation Operational Groups (GOs) from Europe that have developed innovative practices, solutions, products and technologies, thereby contributing to the sustainable and productive development of agriculture and forestry. The competition also honors Operational Groups led by practitioners who have addressed the needs of farmers and foresters and developed solutions that can be used, replicated and implemented by others. Vote for “Zamojska Farma”
There is no shortage of innovative farmers
As the editorial office of “Farmer”, we are still looking for interesting farms, farmers who constantly try to develop their farms, implement facilities or non-standard ideas. In one sentence, they care about improving the profitability of production at various levels of the farm.
If you are such a person and are looking for technical, organizational or breeding innovations, apply to the Innovative Farmer 2024 competition.
Really worth! Time is running out, and we accept applications until the end of April!
