Quotations of oil contracts on global stock exchanges ended with a price increase on Friday. On a weekly basis, the price of rapeseed on the Paris stock exchange increased by 2.2%.
Rapeseed on MATIF more expensive y/y by almost 9%.
The world’s stock exchanges had a good week of trading. It is true that American soybeans gained the most on a weekly basis, but rapeseed on the Paris Stock Exchange reached the highest price since September 1 last year. It is the only one of the presented oilseeds that is currently almost 9% more expensive year-on-year. – soy and canola are almost 20% cheaper.
On Friday, rapeseed prices in the contract for delivery in August on the Paris Stock Exchange increased by 0.7%. and amounted to EUR 469.75/t (PLN 2,030/t) and were 8.7 percent higher than this time last year. Over the last week, the price of rapeseed has increased by 2.2%.
American soybeans gained 3.6% for the week.
Canadian canola prices increased by 1.6% on Friday. and amounted to CAD 633.00/t, and over the last year they decreased by 19.3%. On a weekly basis, canola prices increased by 2.5%. American soybeans rose 1.0 percent on Friday. and cost USD 441.56/t. On a y/y basis, the price of soybeans decreased by 17.0%, while over the last week of trading the price increased by 3.6%.
MATIF rapeseed, August contract – price increased by 0.70%. (EUR 469.75/t – PLN 2,030/t).

CBOT soybeans, May contract – price increased by 0.99%. ($441.56/t- PLN 1,787/t).
On the Chicago stock exchange, the soybean market is dominated by an upward trend – long-term, medium-term downward, short-term upward.
Canola WCE, May contract – price increased by 1.62%. (CAD 633.00/t – PLN 1,868/t).
In Winnipeg, canola is dominated by a long-term downward trend, a medium-term downward trend and a short-term upward trend.
