The supervisory board of Grupa Azoty Zakłady Azotowe “Puławy” has appointed Hubert Kamola as president of the management board, the company announced in a press release on Tuesday. Until now, Kamola served as a member of the supervisory board of ZA “Puławy”.
The company announced in Tuesday’s announcement that on May 7, 2024, it received the resignation of Hubert Kamola as a member of the supervisory board, without providing the reason for the resignation.
On the same day, the Supervisory Board of the Company (…) adopted a resolution to appoint, as of May 8, 2024, for the joint three-year term of office of the Management Board from May 26, 2022, Mr. Hubert Kamola as a Member of the Company’s Management Board, entrusting him with the function of President Management Board – added.
The information indicated that from April 12, 2024, Kamola was delegated by the supervisory board to temporarily perform the duties of the president of the company’s management board.
As stated in Kamola’s biography, he is a manager with 20 years of experience in the chemical and fertilizer sector. He also has international experience in trade, logistics and strategic raw materials. For many years, he participated in shaping regulations in the field of trade protection instruments at the European level, initiating many solutions important for the sector.
Hubert Kamola graduated from the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw, he also has an MBA from the University of Illinois at Urban-Chamaign, as well as a diploma from the Minister of the Treasury for candidates for supervisory boards.
