The set belonging to a Ukrainian company was used for international transport of cream. This cream was going from Sweden to Poland, but the tanker did not have a certificate.
Masovian road transport inspectors stopped a truck with Ukrainian number plates on the S-7 expressway near Ciechanów for inspection. It turned out that an international transport of cream from Sweden to Poland was carried out using a tanker set belonging to a Ukrainian company.
Tanker without a certificate
“During the inspection activities, the inspectors found that the tank semi-trailer did not have a valid certificate confirming the fulfillment of the conditions specified in the agreement on the international transport of perishable food products and on special means of transport intended for such transport. The ATP Certificate (Vehicle Technical Authorization) is a document confirming, that the truck meets the technical requirements and is approved for the transport of goods in international transport, in particular food products that require specific transport conditions. This is very important for maintaining the specific properties of the transported perishable goods. – we read in the report of the Masovian Provincial Road Transport Inspectorate.
The truck drove away, but the questions remained
Administrative proceedings will be initiated against the Ukrainian carrier for any detected violation of the regulations. However, during the inspection activities, the driver paid a deposit of PLN 3,000 towards the expected fine, thanks to which the truck was not forced to park. The inspectors also included a note in the consignment note about the detected violation, so the recipient will know about it.
In this incident, however, it is not the violation of the regulations that causes the greatest outrage, but the fact that someone imports cream to Poland. In addition, he imports it from Sweden and uses the services of a Ukrainian carrier. It is a pity that we will not find out who was the recipient of this transport and whether many such tankers come to Poland. Either way, the world seems to have turned upside down…
