Southern African countries are urgently looking for corn – informs the British Embassy in Warsaw and encourages Polish producers to contact them on this matter.
Corn is in demand in South Africa.
– The British consulting company GMTL asked us to provide the following information to Polish stakeholders who may be interested in obtaining a new market for corn – informs Paulina Wozniak-Grudziecka from the British Embassy in Warsaw. – I will be grateful if you forward this message to entities that cooperate with you and may be interested in the offer – she adds in the information sent to the Polish Association of Cereal Producers.
GMTL has been operating on the market since 2012, providing consulting services around the world. The company is headquartered in London and supported by offices in Washington, Cairo, Zurich and Milan. GMTL’s mission is to help clients run their businesses and anticipate potential difficulties in sectors in over 150 countries.
– Several southern African countries (including Zimbabwe, Malawi and Zambia) have declared drought as a result of climate change, which has resulted in very low harvests. Currently, private companies can import corn from any producing country where they can source it to meet demand. Therefore, South African companies are reporting, among others: to GMTL for consultants to help them acquire new business partners. Poland seems to be one of the key markets with which they could establish relations, says a representative of the British embassy in an e-mail to PZPRZ.
According to the information, interested persons can address their inquiries directly to one of GMTL’s advisors: Mr. Mathul Lusinga [email protected].
Below is the corn specification provided by GMTL.
