The Italian Carraro Agricube Pro tractor is known, but under other brands

The Italian Carraro Group is known mainly as a renowned supplier of drive systems used by many tractor manufacturers. However, it also offers its own tractors under its brand.

Carraro tractors – not to be confused with another Italian manufacturer of specialized tractors, Antonio Carraro – are machines with a power of up to 110 HP, intended primarily for orchards, gardens, vineyards and other specialized crops. However, this manufacturer’s offer also includes machines that can be used for typical agricultural applications, but more on that in a moment.

Carraro produces tractors mainly for global tycoons

The Carraro company has almost a century of experience in the production of agricultural machinery, which has been noticed by the world’s most important manufacturers of agricultural tractors.

The plant in Rovigo, the pride of the Carraro Group, produces specialized tractors (of various widths, as well as lowered structures) with power ranging from 65 to 110 HP for manufacturers such as John Deere, Massey Ferguson, Claas, Valtra and the already mentioned Antonio Carraro.

The Carraro Agricube Pro FL 8.5 tractor is the widest of the family

At the last Agrotech, at the stand of the Polish distributor AMG Sp. z o. o. from Rawa Mazowiecka, a tractor with two-axle drive and a comfortable cabin, the Carraro Agricube Pro FL 8.5, was exhibited, which can be used as a tractor for traditional field work, auxiliary tasks and transport on a typical farm.

However, as Marcin Malinowski from AMG claimed, this machine is intended mainly for farmers who are looking for a low tractor (its height with the cabin is 2,478 mm) with considerable power, as well as for work in mountainous areas – due to its low center of gravity.

The Carraro Agricube Pro FL 8.5 tractor is the widest, measuring 2,197 mm (the narrowest is only 1,181 mm) representative of the Agricube Pro 8.5 series with a power of 75 HP. This range uses a 2.8-litre 4-cylinder FPT F28 engine with a Common Rail system that meets the Stage V standard.

There will be a more powerful Farmtrac

How much does the Carraro Agricube Pro FL 8.5 tractor cost?

The Italian tractor shown in Kielce was equipped with the well-known and appreciated Carraro T100 transmission with a mechanical reverser with a number of gears of 24×24 – an option is a 24×12 version with a single-stage Power Hi-Lo torque multiplier and an electro-hydraulic reverser. In addition, it had two hydraulic pumps with a capacity of 60 + 27 l/min, a PTO offering 540/1000 rpm, two pairs of mechanically controlled hydraulic outputs (maximum 4 pairs are available, also with electro-hydraulic control), three-point linkage lifting capacity 2,600 kg and a comfortable cabin with a Grammer seat and four work lights. Options also include: suspended front axle.

As Marcin Malinowski told us, a Carraro Agricube Pro FL 8.5 tractor configured in this way costs PLN 190,000. PLN net and has a two-year warranty. What is more important, the AMG website offers a configurator where you can see the equipment options and prices of Carraro tractors.
