A few days ago, information appeared in the media about a police investigation into irregularities at the Chamber of Agriculture in Opole, which could have occurred in 2023. According to the findings of the IR audit committee, over PLN 40,000 disappeared from the company card. After the inspection, the chamber’s accountant was dismissed and the financial management was transferred to an external company.
On Tuesday, the main topic of the General Meeting of the Chamber was the motion of a group of delegates who demanded the dismissal of the Chamber’s management board. The reason given was the lack of proper supervision over the finances of agricultural self-government in the region. 16 out of 22 meeting participants voted for the dismissal of the entire management board.
