Everyone wants as much as possible for themselves and let’s tell it like it is. And it’s best if I get it and my neighbor doesn’t get it and you can console him a little but think that it’s good if he didn’t get it.

These subsidies are some kind of comedy, during harvest wheat sold for PLN 600-700, is the competition already over? Who agreed to this anyway, what were these strikes for? Some of them will get a lot of money and the rest will get nothing? In my opinion, wheat was cheaper at harvest than it is now.

What’s different about drought? Drought in the village is the same for everyone, but some will get it and others will get nothing, so what can I say? I thought that only PIS had such miracles

I sell everything every year after the harvest – I calculated and the construction of the warehouse will not pay off in my lifetime. A neighbor has a warehouse and for the last few years before Covid he was selling grain in installments at different times of the year and earning more. Last year, as usual, I lost, or rather I would have lost, because my neighbor, instead of selling it after the harvest, was counting on a higher price and miscalculated, and now he gives subsidies to those who miscalculated. It’s a bit weak. Well, it’s either some business and market risk, or a parody and contributing to those who got into debt by building warehouses with Rural Development Program and now they are doing poorly.

And I agree with you here – in 2022 I sold rapeseed for PLN 3,500 and wheat for PLN 1,600. My colleagues were waiting for a better price, but it turned out that the prices were falling and after the harvest, rapeseed dropped to PLN 2,500 and wheat – PLN 1,100 – PLN 1,200, and suddenly there was great outrage that the price was low. And then they introduced subsidies for those who lost money. it should look like. I was able to predict the market what might happen. And as for subsidies, they should treat everyone equally.
