Today’s quotations on the Danish pig stock exchange did not bring any price change. This is the third week of maintaining the rates.
The Danish weaner market is still in a sideways trend
Prices for Danish weaners have not been changed again. This is the third week of stabilization.
Weaner pigs with a negative PRRS status were valued at DKK 690.00/piece, and pigs with a positive PRRS status at DKK 680.00/piece. The rates apply to weaners weighing 30 kg.
Compared to the prices from the same period last year (week 14), the current prices for weaners are DKK 30/piece higher. In turn, compared to last week, the current rates have not changed.
Current rates for Danish weaners (28/03/2024)
- The rate for weaners with negative PRRS status is: DKK 690.00/pcs., i.e. PLN 399.65/pcs., compared to PLN 398.13/pcs. last week.
- The rate for weaners with a positive PRRS status is: DKK 680.00/pcs., i.e. PLN 393.86/pcs., compared to PLN 392.36/pcs. last week.
- The rate for weaners with conventional status is DKK 655.00/pcs, i.e. PLN 379.38/pcs., compared to PLN 377.94/pcs. last week.

These rates will be valid in Denmark for the next week.
Please note that the above rates include a bonus for the weaner producer and, in the case of import, also transport costs.
