On the night from Saturday to Sunday, the weather will start to get more complicated. On Sunday, a cold front will pass through Poland during the day, said Jakub Gawron, forecaster of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management.

On Saturday, it will be generally moderately cloudy until the evening, with heavy cloud cover in some places in the northern part of the country, and light showers may also occur there.

The temperature will range from 13 degrees Celsius in the north to 22 degrees Celsius in the south. Moderate wind from the west, sometimes gusty. Stronger gusts over the sea – up to approx. 55 km/h.

Showers at night, and sometimes thunderstorms in Pomerania

On the night from Saturday to Sunday, the weather will start to get more complicated. It will be sunny in most parts of the country, but in the north, with heavy cloud cover, there will be showers, and in Pomerania there will also be thunderstorms in some places. Apart from the Bieszczady valleys, where the temperature will drop up to 4 degrees Celsius, in the remaining areas it will be from 9 to 13 degrees Celsius. Light and moderate wind, south-west. Gusty on the coast, up to 65 km/h.

A cold front on Sunday

A cold front will pass through Poland on Sunday. The front zone will move from the north-west to the south-east of the country. During the day, moderately cloudy, in some places heavy, with scattered rain showers throughout the country. There will be storms, sometimes violent, mainly in the eastern part of the country. Total rainfall during storms from 10 to 15 mm.

The maximum temperature will be 11 degrees C at the seaside, about 20 degrees C in the center, 25 degrees C in southern Poland. Moderate wind, strong at the sea, gusty throughout the country, from the west. During storms, gusts will reach 75 km/h, 85 km/h at the seaside throughout the day, and 80 km/h in the Tatra Mountains.

The weather improved on the night from Sunday to Monday

The night from Sunday to Monday is quieter. The frontal zone will affect the south of the country, where there will be heavy cloud cover with more showers. Moderately cloudy in the rest of the country.

Thermometers will indicate from 3 degrees C in the north of Poland to 11 degrees C in the southern part of the country. Mild thunderstorms may also occur in the south. Fog may form in mountain valleys, and in the foothill areas of the Carpathians visibility will be limited to approximately 300 m.

The wind is weak and moderate, stronger in the north of the country, gusts up to 75 km/h over the sea, but will weaken in the second half of the night. Gusts up to 70 km/h high in the Tatra Mountains.
