The reliable Italian forum Tractorum does not disappoint. Thanks to the information contained on this website, you can often see machines before their premiere not only at fairs, but also before shows for journalists. This time, an announcement of the premiere of the smaller Amazone Precea TCC and a render of the new Magnum from Case IH were published.
Amazone announced the expansion of its offer in the field of precision sowing with trailed Precea 9000-TCC and 12000-TCC machines with a working width of 9 and 12 m in the first half of last year. Wide and really large machines have been prepared especially for service enterprises and large farms looking for high-performance machines.
The machines were spotted, among others, in the Farm Machine 2024 competition, in which Precea TCC received a distinction in the sowing category. Amazone presented its machines at Agritrchnice in Hannover in November 2023.
There will be a smaller Precea TCC
The versions of the Precea TCC seeder that we already know have, among others: central grain tank with a capacity of 2,000 liters, capable of holding up to two big bags. In addition, the machine has a new Central Seed Supply seed supply system, in which seeds are transported by an air stream from the central tank to the distribution units. There, the seed is stored in small storage tanks serving individual rows. When the maximum filling level of this receiving module is reached, the air flow is automatically blocked and the material supply is interrupted. If the fill level drops again, the air flow starts automatically, transporting the seeds from the main hopper to the individual rows. Central Seed Supply allows you to supply each section separately with seed without the need to use complicated sensors or electronic control.
In the field of seed singling, Amazone used PreTeC separating sections, which operate on the principle of overpressure, where the seeds are pressed against the separating disc by compressed air. The whole can be added to the Curve Control, awarded by the Agritechnica jury, i.e. the electric drive of individual sections, which, even when working on a curve, allows you to maintain even spacing between seeds over the entire working width of the wide machine.

Thanks to leaks, we know that Amazone is preparing the Precea 6000 TCC version for the EIMA 2024 fair, i.e. a 6-meter version, which can also be purchased by service providers, but smaller ones interested in services on slightly smaller areas.
New Case IH Magnum coming in 2027
The second leak is a render, or visualization, of the future Case IH Magnum.
First of all, it is supposed to be more powerful, so the hood will be equipped with the 6-cylinder FPT Cursor 13 engine with a capacity of 12.9 liters, known from larger Case IH models, providing from 522 to 699 HP at maximum power in Quadtrac series tractors. Currently, Magnum uses FPT engines with a capacity of 8.7 l and power up to 400 HP.
According to the author of the entry, the new Case IH Magnum series is scheduled to appear on the market in 2027.
Is this a real photo? Hard to say. The photo appears to have been taken on a computer screen, in close-up. Perhaps this is part of some internal Case IH presentation about plans for the coming years and a visualization of the new Magnum was posted at 2027.
These are just some plans, the tractor in the drawing does not even have any markings, it is not known whether a prototype already exists. What attracts attention is the long hood, which must hide the Cursor 13 engine and all accessories. That’s why the proportions are not the best and people commenting on the entry joke that the tractor reminds them of Belarus 4522.
Anyway, in our opinion, this is still a very early stage of design and everything may change.
