The Agricultural Social Insurance Fund is starting recruitment for free summer rehabilitation sessions for farmers’ children.

During the summer holidays, the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund will organize free rehabilitation stays for children of farmers insured with KRUS.

What conditions must be met to receive support?

  • children born between 2009–2017
  • obligatory insurance of at least one parent (legal guardian) in KRUS,
  • A child referred to in Art. may be referred for rehabilitation. 29 section 2 points 1 and 2 of the Act of December 20, 1990 on social insurance for farmers (Journal of Laws of 2023, items 208 and 337), i.e. own children, children of the other spouse and adopted children, as well as children accepted for upbringing and maintenance before grandchildren, siblings and other children who have reached the age of majority, excluding children accepted for upbringing and maintenance within a foster family or family children’s home.

To obtain qualification for rehabilitation, you must submit an application for therapeutic rehabilitation/regenerative stays constituting an annex to the Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of December 19, 2022 on the conditions of therapeutic rehabilitation and regenerative stays (Journal of Laws of 2022, item 2757). ). The application must be accompanied by:

  • a form with additional information about the child’s health condition,
  • form regarding information provided when obtaining personal data from the data subject,
  • declaration of the parent/guardian regarding consent to provide any pre-medical and medical assistance in the event of a threat to the child’s life or health during the trip to the rehabilitation center at CRR KRUS and on the way back.

Completed application for therapeutic rehabilitation/regenerative stay together with the above-mentioned the forms should be submitted to the KRUS office appropriate to the farmer’s place of residence within the deadline specified by the unit.

The child receives a referral to a rehabilitation course after the application has been positively qualified by the regional inspector of medical certification of a branch or local facility of KRUS.

Priority in referral to rehabilitation stays is given to children with a disability certificate, provided that they are capable of self-service.

KRUS Farmers’ Rehabilitation Centers provide children with full meals, 24-hour medical care and an individual rehabilitation program. The children are cared for by qualified teaching staff.

Rehabilitation stays last 21 days.

    KRUS Farmers’ Rehabilitation Center in Jedlec, two sessions on the following dates:
    –    08.07 – 28.07.2024 r.,
    –    29.07 – 18.08.2024 r.
  • rehabilitation stays for children with respiratory diseases in:
    KRUS Farmers’ Rehabilitation Center in Szklarska Poręba, one session on:
    –    02.07 – 22.07.2024 r.,
    KRUS Farmers’ Rehabilitation Center in Iwonicz-Zdrój, two sessions on the following dates:
    –    10.07 – 30.07.2024 r.,
    –    31.07 – 20.08.2024 r.,
    Farmers’ Rehabilitation Center in Świnoujście, one session on:
    –    11.08 – 31.08.2024 r.
