Yesterday’s grain futures prices on world stock exchanges mostly fell. The price of wheat on Matif decreased by 0.1%.
Correction of grain prices on Matif
Wheat in the contract for delivery in May on Matif fell by 0.1%. and cost EUR 200.75/t (PLN 866/t), and y/y the prices dropped by 18.1%. The price of corn on the Paris Stock Exchange in the June contract fell by 0.5%. and amounted to EUR 190.50/t (PLN 822/t), and over the last year it decreased by 21.5%.
American wheat was the only one to increase in price
Wheat on CBoT in the May contract increased by 0.7%. and cost USD 201.17/t. On a y/y basis, quotations decreased by 21.8%. The price of corn in the contract for delivery in May on the Chicago Stock Exchange fell by 1.3%. and amounted to USD 168.01/t, and over the last year it decreased by 34.1%.
