When is Kołodziejczak’s list? There are the first leaks

The list of importers of Ukrainian grain has been hot in all media for several days. However, all available information is based on the previous government’s list revealed in November. Will the new list be made available as announced?

The list of importers of Ukrainian grain is one of the hottest topics recently. The emotions surrounding it are even greater because the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Michał Kołodziejczak, announced that in the coming days he will reveal the full list supplemented with detailed data.

When will the list appear?

The media went crazy and for several days they have been publishing subsequent versions of the list, which was made available by the ministry and then by Władysław Serafin, president of KZROiKR. This second version included not only the names of the companies, but also the value of the imported agricultural products.

I know this list, it may not be entirely true, but most of the data there is true, says Czesław Siekierski. – We did not want to comment on this earlier because some of this data is the secret of the companies that made these purchases. I would also like to point out that these are not tables showing grain imports to Poland that have taken place in recent days. Today we have an embargo on the import of grain from Ukraine. That’s why these are purchases from a time when such a ban was not in force – adds the head of the Ministry of Agriculture in a statement for Onet.

From today, agrotechnical treatments can be resumed in fields with the GAEC 6 standard. For example, you can do plowing

The companies’ actions were not contrary to the law

The new Ministry of Agriculture approaches the issue of disclosing the lists with caution.

In the ministry, we are busy with many issues that are “right now”, “yesterday”. The size of this list will not change, nor will the number of these companies. Detailed analyzes are carried out of who did what and where. Tomorrow I will present the progress of work regarding this list, Kołodziejczak announced in an interview with money.pl.

The deputy minister adds that new information on this topic will be revealed on February 17.

The topic is extremely sensitive – after all, the companies that imported goods from across the eastern border did not break the law in force at that time.

These are purchases from a time when such a ban was not in force. Therefore, it is difficult to say that any of the companies on the list broke the law. Yes, their actions could have been unethical in business terms, and that’s how I assess it, but nothing more – said Siekierski.

It's Morawiecki's fault. VAT on agricultural produce from Ukraine

The Ministry assures that it is constantly working on solutions that will limit the inflow of goods from Ukraine.

Poland proposes quotas for sensitive goods, including: for sugar, poultry, eggs, soft fruits. We refer to the period before the war and we also take into account a certain increase, but we analyze the situation in such a way that it does not harm the Polish market – said the Minister of Agriculture. – So many frozen raspberries arrived last year that we don’t have to produce anything next year. So this is a problem, he emphasized. JIn this case there will definitely be a full restriction.
