and there is no point in fooling yourself that this sugar is a pig and now it will finance the banner propaganda – this is how the mechanism works. And the sugar factories were not very willing to join the protests – they said that they would cope with the surplus – but they did not say that at the farmer’s expense, they would pay half of the beetroot and somehow they would cope, but will the farmer cope??? probably not, and there will be no beetroot, then the piglet will bring not 400,000 but a million tons of sugar from GMO beets sprayed with neonicotides or treated or sprayed with Chlorpyrifos. And without any fertilizer restrictions or inspections. and even if Porozence runs out of sugar in its production, it will import it from Brazil, stick a sticker saying that it is Ukrainian – it will not pay customs duties to the EU and will make money selling sugar.

I would like to remind you that Pfeifer & Langen also has sugar factories in Ukraine and exporting sugar from this country is also a better business for them than production in Poland. Colleagues who contracted beetroot for the current season claimed that it was not possible to increase their beet sowing this year. Apparently they even wrote contracts with quantities 10% lower than in the previous season.
