Douglas’s dream of creating a better world can be traced to his childhood. He grew up in New York with a very close knit family. His passion growing up was sports and being part of teams that achieved their goals and dreams together. It was in these early years he learned the importance of teamwork, leadership, accountability, and sacrifice for the greater good of the whole. He attended College at Brockport with a degree in Finance and played four years of collegiate soccer where he was fortunate to Captain the team for several years. He received his MBA from Texas A&M – Commerce, with a focus in Finance. In 2011, Douglas began his career working for some of the largest banks in New York City and in 2015, he had already established his first company – Neon Bloom Inc. The company focused on investing and bringing to market innovations that could change the world and improve the circumstances for families everywhere. They acquired numerous companies all over the globe before taking the company public via a Reverse Merger. Upon completing the public offering, Douglas started GrassRoots Advisory LLC, an ESG Impact M&A and Advisory firm.
