– We need to listen carefully to what farmers expect, because these are protests that concern vital issues of European agriculture – said Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski, advisor to the President of the Republic of Poland for agriculture, about the farmers’ protests. These protests are authentic, they are not staged by the opposition – added the PiS MP.
– Undoubtedly, these are authentic protests, not any politically controlled ones, because this is the narrative I see from the government, that these are protests initiated or organized by the opposition, by Law and Justice – pointed out Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski, and added – in many countries of Law and Justice it wasn’t, and the protests are similar. Therefore, we also need to listen carefully to what farmers expect, because these are protests that concern vital, absolutely vital issues related to European agriculture – emphasized Ardanowski.

Ardanowski about farmers: They are the most conscious social group. They know what they are fighting for
However, Ardanowski noted that “only farmers are the most aware social group at the moment, because they say this: if European agriculture disappears, sacrificed on the altar of quite hypothetical and not fully proven theories about the negative impact of agriculture on the climate and nature, then security will end.” food in Europe.
According to Ardanowski, importing food from areas outside the EU, from South America, Australia, New Zealand, or, closer, from Ukraine and Russia, does not ensure food security for almost half a billion people in the European Union.
He also explains that farmers expect not only ad hoc actions regarding the abandonment of fallow land. “Farmers expect that the common agricultural policy will be rethought, which has brought huge positive aspects in the history of the EU and European communities. It has ensured high production of good quality food, food security and also a certain stabilization of farms, which are being modernized and increasing their area. , introduce various types of machines, devices, innovative technologies, but it is still the same European agriculture and destroying this common agricultural policy instead of reformatting it deeply seems strange and inappropriate.
