There are only two days left to submit an application for a corn subsidy

There are only two days left to submit an application for a corn subsidy. So far, 123.6 thousand have been registered. applications for such support from farmers.

ARiMR informs that in order to efficiently accept all applications, the opening hours of district offices have been extended during the recruitment period.

– As for the coming days, on February 28 we are open from 07:00 to 18:00 and on February 29 from 07:00 to 22:00 or until the last customer arrives – says the Agency in a statement.

Help for whom?

Financial assistance is addressed to farmers growing corn who are at risk of losing financial liquidity due to restrictions on the agricultural market caused by the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. The condition for receiving aid is meeting the criteria of a micro, small or medium-sized enterprise and submitting an application for direct subsidies for the previous year in which corn was cultivated. The regulations do not require documents confirming the sale of corn to be attached to the application.

Obstacles are mounting regarding the payment of attendance money to KGW

How much can you get?

The program budget is PLN 1 billion. The amount of aid will be calculated as the product of the area under maize (excluding maize for silage) of no more than 100 ha declared in the application for direct payments for 2023 and the aid rate amounting to:

  • PLN 1,000 for the Lublin and Podkarpackie voivodeships;
  • PLN 700 for the Lesser Poland, Masovian, Świętokrzyskie and Podlaskie voivodeships;
  • PLN 500 for the Lower Silesian, Kuyavian-Pomeranian, Lubuskie, Łódź, Opole, Pomeranian, Silesian, Warmian-Masurian, Greater Poland and West Pomeranian voivodeships.

If the amount of aid resulting from the submitted applications exceeds the pool of funds intended for co-financing, it will be used to calculate the aid correction factor.

Applications can be submitted until February 29, 2024 directly to the district office, by post (via Poczta Polska), via the ePUAP platform or using the mObywatel service (on the gov.pl website).

The application form and instructions for completing it are attached below this text.
