Agricultural producers whose farms suffered damage to agricultural crops caused by drought and other unfavorable atmospheric phenomena in 2023 exceeding 30%. average annual plant production, may apply for support. Applications are accepted by ARiMR district offices until March 15, 2024. So there’s not much time left.

So far, over 80,000 people have applied for this assistance. farmers.

There are four aid rates:

  • PLN 1,000/ha of crop area (including perennial grasslands where the stocking density of cattle, sheep, goats, horses or geese is at least 0.3 DJP/ha), in the case of which damage occurred as a result of drought in 2023, hail, torrential rain, negative effects of wintering, spring frosts, floods, hurricanes, lightning, landslides or avalanches caused the loss of at least 70%. yield.

This rate does not apply to perennial grasslands where the stocking density of cattle, sheep, goats, horses or geese is less than 0.3 DJP/ha and to crops of fruit trees and shrubs or strawberries, where damage caused by frost occurred in 2023 spring, hail or hurricane;

  • PLN 500/ha of crop area (including perennial grasslands where the stocking density of cattle, sheep, goats, horses or geese is at least 0.3 DJP/ha), in the case of which damage occurred as a result of drought in 2023, hail, torrential rain, negative effects of wintering, spring frosts, floods, hurricanes, lightning, landslides or avalanches caused the loss of at least 30%. and less than 70 percent yield.

This rate does not apply to perennial grasslands where the stocking density of cattle, sheep, goats, horses or geese is less than 0.3 DJP/ha and to crops of fruit trees and shrubs or strawberries, where damage caused by frost occurred in 2023 spring, hail or hurricane;

  • PLN 500/ha of the area of ​​perennial grasslands where damage resulting from drought, hail, torrential rain, negative effects of overwintering, spring frosts, flood, hurricane, lightning, landslide or avalanche in 2023 resulted in the loss of at least 70 percent yield, and where the stocking density of cattle, sheep, goats, horses or geese is below 0.3 DJP/ha;
  • PLN 250/ha of the area of ​​perennial grasslands where damage caused by drought, hail, torrential rain, negative effects of overwintering, spring frosts, flood, hurricane, lightning, landslide or avalanche in 2023 resulted in the loss of at least 30 percent and less than 70 percent yield, and where the stocking density of cattle, sheep, goats, horses or geese is below 0.3 DJP/ha.

Importantly, in the case of agricultural producers who do not have an insurance policy, at least 50 percent area of ​​agricultural crops (excluding perennial grasslands), the support amount will be reduced by half.

Applications are accepted by the district offices of the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture. Documents can be submitted until March 15, 2024 in person or by an authorized person at an ARiMR branch, by letter, via the ePUAP platform or using the mObywatel service (on the gov.pl website).
