
June 19 this year This year’s call for applications for premiums for young farmers has started. They can be submitted until August 16, 2024 only electronically via the ARiMR Electronic Services Platform.
A natural person who:
- on the day of submitting the application, he or she is at least 18 years old and not more than 40 years old (not yet 41 years old);
- started conducting agricultural activity no earlier than 24 months before the date of submitting the application or has not yet started conducting agricultural activity;
- has an identification number assigned in accordance with the provisions on the national system for registering producers, registering farms and registering payment applications;
- has appropriate professional qualifications or skills useful for conducting agricultural activity on a farm as a manager or undertakes to supplement them, excluding work experience, within 3 years from the date of payment of the first installment of aid and will start supplementing qualifications (education) no later than 12 months from the date of granting the aid;
- will submit a business plan and undertake to implement it within a period no longer than 3 full calendar years following the starting year, regardless of the date of conclusion of the contract.
Aid is granted only once per person and farm indicated in the business plan for the initial and target year, except in cases of land exchange, death of the previous beneficiary, resignation from aid or refund of 100% of the amount of aid paid.
What can you spend the money on?
Premiums are granted for the start and development of agricultural activities on farms by young farmers in the production of unprocessed agricultural products or preparation for sale of unprocessed agricultural products produced on the farm.
Support can be used for investments in fixed assets and intangible assets. These can be, for example:
- construction investments related to buildings or structures used to produce unprocessed agricultural products or prepare them for sale;
- purchase of agricultural real estate;
- purchase of a basic herd of farm animals;
- investments in permanent plantings in orchards and perennial plantations;
- purchase of new machines, devices, equipment, including computer equipment, vehicles to support the production of unprocessed agricultural products or prepare them for sale;
- purchase of intangible assets supporting the production of unprocessed agricultural products or preparing them for sale, with an expected economic useful life longer than 1 year (including computer programs).

How much can you get for a young farmer?
The aid takes the form of a bonus and its amount is PLN 200,000. zloty. It is paid in two installments:
- 70% of the amount of aid granted – PLN 140,000. PLN – paid after signing the bonus award agreement and submitting an application for payment of the first installment;
- 30% of the aid amount, i.e. PLN 60,000. PLN – after implementing the business plan and submitting an application for payment of the second installment.
The recruitment of applications for granting premiums for young farmers will last from June 19 to August 16, 2024. Documents are accepted only electronically via the Agency’s IT system, through the ARiMR Electronic Services Platform (PUE).
The limit of financial resources up to which ARiMR may grant aid under the recruitment is PLN 811 million.
