Providing bonuses to the domestic industry when selling wood
Paulina Hennig-Kloska, Minister of Climate and Environment, emphasized at the press conference “Package for the wood industry” that the ministry had prepared 9 recommendations to support the development of the domestic industry based on wood processing.
What we are planning is, among others: increasing the percentage of the wood pool intended for regular, proven, long-term customers who constantly cooperate with the State Forests – said the Minister of Climate and Environment. – In this way, we provide stability to the economy, producers and processors. We can provide them with supplies of raw materials in the desired quantity in the long term.

Wood from the State Forests is to be used mainly for production in Poland
Another recommendation proposed by the Ministry of Environmental Protection is greater bonuses for the sale of wood that will be processed to a greater extent in Poland.
This means that the intensity of wood processing in the country will be additionally rewarded during sales, so that the raw material is more available to our economy – emphasized the head of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.

The next action is intended to be pro-climate and is extremely important not only for the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.

Transparency in sales and limited export of Polish wood
The Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment noted the “Package for the wood industry” at the press conference. that there are several extremely important points that were raised in virtually every meeting with representatives of the wood industry.
This includes, among others: the issue of bonuses for wood processors, maximum reduction in the export of unprocessed wood outside Poland and outside the European Union, transparency in the sale of wood and the release of full-value wood for the industry – emphasized Mikołaj Drożała, Undersecretary of State, Chief Nature Conservator.
