The 5th National Field Days have started in Boguchwał, near Rzeszów. At the Podkarpackie Agricultural Advisory Center in Boguchwala, from today until Sunday you will be able to meet exhibitors from the categories of agricultural technology, animal breeding, but also institutions related to agriculture.
The 5th National Field Days in Boguchwala have started!
This year’s event is held under the slogan “Modern agriculture”. Friday, June 14, will be called young farmer’s day.
On approximately 1,500 demonstration plots, spread over nearly 19 hectares, visitors can learn about the wealth of species and varieties of agricultural plants, technological innovations in the field of precision agriculture, good agricultural practices and plant cultivation and protection technologies.
An interesting feature of this edition will be a traditional orchard with old varieties of fruit trees, including: apple, pear, cherry and plum trees.
This year’s event plan looks impressive. The town located in the ODR area is divided into 12 zones:
- Innovation Zone;
- Rural Development Zone;
- Zone of the 25th Regional Livestock Exhibition;
- Renewable Energy Zone;
- Gardening Zone;
- Beekeeping Zone;
- Learning and Consulting Zone;
- Market Town Zone;
- Agricultural Machinery Zone;
- Hunting and Hunting Zone;
- Discover Podkarpackie Zone;
- Ecological Farm Zone.

The program is packed with attractions
In each of them, visitors will be able to benefit from expert advice – scientists, advisors and industry specialists, and take part in shows, demonstrations, conferences, workshops and competitions.
There will also be shows and workshops in which you can take part. Planned, among others: presentation of plots and field experiments, collections of herbs and melliferous plants and a traditional orchard; presentation of the latest mechanization solutions in agriculture; workshops entitled “Recognition of pests in agricultural plants” (monitoring of pests in agricultural fields, recognition of diseases in agricultural plants, identification of weeds in crops); a demonstration of a modern self-propelled sprayer with a weed detection system, or a presentation of field boom stabilization on an obstacle course.
The program also includes demonstrations of seeders, spreaders, field harvesters, self-propelled seeders, and drones.
The organizers made sure that during the field days there would be no shortage of the latest solutions in agriculture – in Boguchwala you will be able to take part in a drone show with multispectral cameras that determine the nitrogen content of plants.
