From today you can apply for support for water protection against nitrates. The call for applications for financial aid for investments in renewable energy and improving the energy efficiency of farms ends on Friday.

Support for water protection against nitrates – recruitment begins

From February 20 to March 20, 2024, you can apply for funds for “Investments aimed at protecting water against nitrate pollution from agricultural sources”. The funding comes from the budget of the Rural Development Program for 2014-2020.
Agricultural producers who breed or breed farm animals may apply for financial aid. However, the support is not available to owners of poultry farms over 40,000. stands and pigsties with more than 2,000 places for pigs weighing over 30 kg or more than 750 places for sows.

The aid limit for one farmer and one farm throughout the entire implementation period of the Rural Development Program for 2014-2020 is PLN 150,000. zloty. The standard funding level is 50%. eligible costs, and in the case of an investment implemented by the so-called young farmer – 60 percent

The aid received can be used, among others, for: for the construction, reconstruction or purchase of both tanks for storing liquid natural fertilizers and plates for storing solid natural fertilizers, and in the case of young farmers, also tanks or plates for storing silage. Financing is also available for the purchase of new machines and equipment for applying natural liquid fertilizers.

Importantly, entities breeding or breeding farm animals up to and including 210 DJP are obliged in the current calendar year to adjust the area or capacity of places where natural fertilizers are stored to the requirements set out in the “Programme of actions aimed at reducing water pollution with nitrates originating from sources agricultural activities and preventing further pollution.

The documents are accepted by regional branches and district offices of ARiMR. Applications can be delivered in person or by an authorized person, sent by registered mail posted at a Poczta Polska branch or via the ePUAP mailbox.

Investments in renewable energy and improving the energy efficiency of farms – deadline for applications is February 23

Those interested in investing in agricultural biogas plants, micro-installations producing energy from solar radiation or solutions improving the energy efficiency of farms can apply for support until February 23, 2024. The aid comes from the budget of the Strategic Plan for the Common Agricultural Policy for 2023-2027. So far, 143 applications for support worth PLN 16.5 million have been submitted.

Farmers entered in the register of producers who have been granted a single area payment or who run a farm within special sections of agricultural production may apply for financial assistance for investments in renewable energy sources and energy efficiency improvement. Another important condition to be met is to have completed energy efficiency training no earlier than 24 months before submitting the application or to undertake to complete such a course.

Eco-schemas: Geotagged photos can be replaced with statements

The co-financing covers three investment areas:

A – construction of new agricultural biogas plants

B – purchase of photovoltaic micro-installations and installations for generating thermal energy from solar radiation (including additional equipment)

C – investments aimed at improving the energy efficiency of farm buildings, e.g. insulating walls and floors

The support takes the form of a refund, which can cover up to 65%. eligible investment costs. The maximum amount of aid for area A is PLN 1.5 million, and for areas B and C – PLN 200,000 each. zloty. The total limit of support per beneficiary during the implementation period of the CAP 2023-2027 is for areas: A and B – PLN 1.5 million; A and C – PLN 1.7 million; B and C – 400 thousand zloty; A, B and C – PLN 1.7 million.

You can apply for aid only via the ARiMR Electronic Services Platform.
