
Today’s quotations on the Danish pig stock exchange brought further increases in rates for animals for fattening.
Prices of weaner pigs in Denmark are on an upward trend
Prices of Danish weaners have increased once again. Today’s quotations brought increases in all health statuses.
Weaner pigs with a negative PRRS status were valued at DKK 635.00/piece, and pigs with a positive PRRS status at DKK 625.00/piece. The rates apply to weaners weighing 30 kg.
Compared to the prices from the same period last year (week 08), the current prices for weaners are higher by 15-25 DKK/piece. depending on health status. In turn, compared to last week, the current rates are higher by 15 DKK/pcs, i.e. by approx. PLN 8.75 (after taking into account changes in exchange rates, the difference is approx. PLN 9/pcs).

Current rates for Danish weaners (15/02/2024)
The rate for weaners with negative PRRS status is: DKK 635.00/pcs, i.e. PLN 370.21/pcs., compared to PLN 361.21/pcs. last week.
The rate for weaners with a positive PRRS status is: DKK 625.00/pcs, i.e. PLN 364.38/pcs., compared to PLN 355.39/pcs. last week.
The rate for weaners with conventional status is DKK 600.00/pcs, i.e. PLN 349.80/pcs., compared to PLN 340.82/pcs. last week.

These rates will be valid in Denmark for the next week.
Please note that the above rates include a bonus for the weaner producer and, in the case of import, also transport costs.
