Obstacles are mounting regarding the payment of the promised attendance money to KGW.
As we remember, the government of Mateusz Morawiecki promised the Rural Women’s Circles a cash reward if they actively participate in the pre-election campaign to encourage residents to participate in the parliamentary elections in autumn 2023.
This concerns the payment of funds to KGW, whose headquarters are located in a commune with a population of up to 20,000, in which the turnout in the elections to the Sejm of the Republic of Poland held on October 15, 2023 was above 60%. According to the regulation issued by the Council of Ministers on this matter, the amount of support is the quotient of PLN 250,000 and the number of rural wives’ associations based in a given commune. The amount will be determined with an accuracy of two decimal places and rounded down.

But so far, even though the elections took place on October 15, 2023, and we are already at the end of February 2024, it is not known how much money will be paid and to whom…
ARiMR counts. The National Election Commission does not help
The agency was asked whether:
– has already received from the National Electoral Commission a list of communes that have met the conditions for transferring aid to the National Electoral Commission, specified in the regulation of the Council of Ministers of November 21, 2023 amending the regulation on the detailed scope and methods of implementing certain tasks of the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture, i.e. the transfer of “money for attendance” ”? Because I understand that it occurred immediately after such a possibility was specified in the regulations – i.e. December 12, 2023? Today it is February 6, 2024 – so I assume that the list I am asking about is already in the possession of ARiMR.
– in how many communes up to 20 thousand inhabitants, the turnout in the Elections to the Sejm of the Republic of Poland held on October 15, 2023 exceeded 60%?
– how many Rural Women’s Associations will receive help in the form of “attendance money”?
– what will be the average aid rate?
– when exactly will ARiMR start paying out this aid?
replied on February 27 this year. as follows:
– ARiMR asked the National Electoral Commission to send a list of communes up to 20,000. inhabitants, where turnout in last year’s parliamentary elections exceeded 60%. In response, the National Electoral Commission said that information on this matter was available on its website and the Agency should obtain it from this source and develop it for the purposes of providing assistance. Therefore, the information posted on the PKW website must be analyzed by ARiMR employees, which complicates and lengthens the process of handling this assistance. Therefore, at the moment it is not possible to determine the date of commencement of support payments in this respect. When it is known, we will immediately inform you about it via our website.
The deadline for paying the “attendance bonus” for KGW is June 30, 2024.
