Land O’Lakes sets perfect tone in farm-ad themed on the big game

Land O’Lakes has created a minute-long Super Bowl-themed ad celebrating farmers that will air on social media in conjunction with Sunday’s big game. The commercial, titled Not a Big Ad, is intended to shine a light on the cooperative’s farmers, who are “too busy to be in a flashy commercial” because they are focused on bringing the best products to football fans for their game-day spreads.

So don’t expect it to phonied up with romanticized images of agricultural life — instead, expect it to be real.

Food producers have incredible and irreplaceable roles in society, and this promotional ad does well to capture that essence. While most of the world will have to wait until Feb. 12 to see the ad, AGDAILY got a preview of it ahead of the game.

The ad highlights just a few of the 1,000 farmer-owners who are part of Land O’Lakes, which is one of the nation’s largest cooperatives. With the broad number of brands that Land O’Lakes farmers contribute to, it’s very likely that if you find yourself snacking or enjoying dinner in front of the Super Bowl, you’ll be supporting some of these producers.

If you don’t want to miss this ad when it launches, keep an eye on Land O’Lakes’ social media channels, including Facebook and Instagram.
