Consumers across the country will soon be able to support Farm Rescue by purchasing farm-themed cases of Busch Light, thanks to the brewer’s “For the Farmers” partnership with John Deere.
A farm scene featuring the iconic green tractors will be printed on 12-ounce cans in 24- and 30-pack cases for the limited-edition release, on sale May 16 through July 3.
For each case of the “For the Farmers” beer sold, Busch Light will donate $1 to Farm Rescue, up to $100,000, and John Deere will match that donation.
Farm Rescue is a nonprofit organization that provides the equipment and volunteers needed for planting, harvesting, haying, and livestock feeding at no cost to farm and ranch families who have been affected by a major illness, injury, or natural disaster. The group currently serves farm families in North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, and Kansas.
“Farm Rescue is honored to be the beneficiary of this incredible joint effort between Busch Light and John Deere,” said Bill Gross, founder and president, Farm Rescue. “Both companies have been incredible supporters of our mission, and this latest partnership truly solidifies their commitment to American agriculture. Although farmers only represent 1% of the total population, they have a big responsibility in feeding the world. With the money raised through this one-of-a-kind promotion, Farm Rescue will be able to extend a helping hand to many more farm families in crisis.”
Cornfield Cornhole aims to raise awareness
In order to raise awareness of Farm Rescue’s efforts, Busch Light and John Deere are also hosting a one-day giant cornhole event in Big Bend, Wisconsin, on May 21.
Cornfield Cornhole will feature a John Deere tractor and ground-posted slingshot that will catapult hay bales wrapped with “For the Farmers” graphics across a cornfield into a giant cornhole board.
The public is invited to attend the event and can register for free tickets at Busch.com/forthefarmers.
Merchandise is also available at that website and ShopBeerGear.com, including shirts, hats, flags, and can coolies with the “For the Farmers” logo. Other gear features a mash-up of the Busch Light and John Deere logos with “Busch Beere” printed in the style of the John Deere brand.
A history of support

John Deere is the official equipment partner of Farm Rescue, working with dealers to provide the organization with free access to its latest equipment and technologies. Many of John Deere’s employees also serve as volunteers with Farm Rescue.
Busch Light has contributed more than $750,000 to Farm Rescue since 2019 and has partnered with the organization to release fan-favorite Corn Cans and create barn and shed billboards across the country expressing support for farmers.
