Most grains have become cheaper on world markets

Yesterday’s quotations of grain contracts on world stock exchanges ended mostly with a decline in prices. Corn lost the most on CBOT – 1.9%.

Wheat on Matif has become slightly cheaper

Wheat in the contract for March delivery on Matif fell by 0.4%. and cost EUR 203.75/t (PLN 879/t), and year-on-year prices dropped by 30.6%.

The price of corn on the Paris Stock Exchange fell by 0.7% in the March contract. and amounted to 173.25 euro/t (PLN 748/t), and over the last year it decreased by 41.1%.

Big drop in corn on CBOT

Wheat on CBoT in the March contract increased by 0.1%. and cost USD 214.30/t. On a y/y basis, the prices fell by 22.3%. The price of corn in the March delivery contract on the Chicago Stock Exchange decreased by 1.9%. and amounted to USD 161.80/t, and over the last year it decreased by 39.6%.
