Most cereals increased in price on world stock exchanges

Yesterday’s quotations of grain contracts on world stock exchanges ended mostly with price increases. Wheat on MATIF gained 2.4%.

Wheat gained the most on MATIF

Wheat in the March delivery contract on MATIF increased by 2.45%. and cost EUR 188.50/t (PLN 811/t), and y/y the prices dropped by 30.9%.

The price of corn on the Paris Stock Exchange in the June contract increased by 0.6%. and amounted to EUR 173.25/t (PLN 746/t), and over the last year it decreased by 40.2%.

Wheat on CBOT deepened the almost four-year low

Wheat on CBoT in the March contract fell by 0.1%. and cost USD 191.34/t. On a y/y basis, the prices fell by 22.8%. The price of corn in the March delivery contract on the Chicago Stock Exchange increased by 1.9%. and amounted to USD 167.71/t, and over the last year it decreased by 32.9%.
