Dairy Girl Network presents the DGN Forward Under 40 away biennially, and now, the new DGN Leading Impact award will honor a dairy woman for their leadership achievements.
The DGN Leading Impact award will honor a dairy woman who has positively contributed to dairy farming and provided leadership within the agricultural industry and their community. This award is presented at Forward TogetHER 2022 National Conference in Prior Lake, MN, on November 1 through 3. Nominees may be be a dairy farmer, industry representative, educator, or someone who has multiple dairy roles.
The Forward Under 40 Award will be presented at the Dairy Girl Network conference to four passionate dairy women who are bettering the dairy industry. The award is open to dairy women under 40 years old who exemplify passionate involvement in the industry and possess strong leadership skills, innovative thinking, and ideas they have put to use to better dairy. This year, however, women who missed an opportunity for nomination in 2020 may be nominated, opening the award to women up to 44 years old. Applications are by fellow dairy industry professionals and judged by an outside panel of anonymous industry professionals and producers.

“Dairywomen are always moving the arrow forward for success in the dairy industry,” said DGN President and Founder, Laura Daniels, “DGN’s awards are milestone achievements honoring women in dairy who are positively influencing dairy farming into the future.”
The Dairy Girl Network aims to connect women in the dairy industry, encouraging ideas and camaraderie to achieve personal and professional development. The DGN Leading Impact Award is sponsored by Beck’s, and the DGN Forward under 40 award is sponsored by Compeer Financial.
