Lidl Polska has expanded its range with a product that will make many customers think back to the old days… In Lidl Polska stores you will find fresh, non-standardized milk, which is offered in glass bottles.
Lidl Polska allows customers to return to their roots by expanding its range to include fresh milk, offered in a glass bottle. The milk has a minimum fat content of 3.8% and is non-standardized, i.e. it is milk with a natural, unchanged fat content. Moreover, it is minimally processed – it is pasteurized.
– We have as many as 400 cows on our farm. We care about them and their well-being. They decide themselves when they want to eat and drink and when to be milked. They only eat food that grows in our fields. Thanks to this treatment, cows produce more milk, which is simply tasty – comments Paweł Zatylny, manager of the Agrocoop dairy, which is the supplier of the mentioned milk.
Lidl introduces milk in glass bottles
The milk supplier is Agrocoop – a modern farm that focuses on robotization and innovative solutions for environmental protection, while ensuring high standards of animal care. At Agrocoop, milking robots are used every day, so the cows are milked during an automated process. Due to thermal processing, which takes place at a lower temperature than UHT milk production, fresh milk retains more nutritional values and has better organoleptic properties.
Milk is only subjected to the pasteurization process
– We are glad that thanks to cooperation with Lidl Polska, our milk is available throughout the country. It is distinguished by its naturalness. Milk is only subjected to the pasteurization process, which is required by legal regulations. We deliver to Lidl Polska every day. Milk milked in the morning is transported to warehouses in the evening. This cooperation gives us development. Currently, we produce as much as 12,000 liters of milk every day. Half a year ago we started with 5,000 liters a week, adds Zatylny.
Non-standardized fresh milk with a minimum fat content of 3.8% is available in all Lidl Polska stores. This milk is marked “Polish Product”.
