From 15 marks 2024 r. applications for funding may be submitted by agricultural producers who have insured poultry, cattle or pigs against the risk of damage caused by salmonella. This is the 4th call for applications for support under the “Risk Management” measure from the Rural Development Program for 2014-2020. So far, the beneficiaries have received approximately PLN 5.9 million.
Applications are accepted by the district offices of the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture. Documents can be submitted until March 15, 2024 in person at branches, sent by registered post or online – to the Agency’s electronic inbox or via the ARiMR Electronic Services Platform. In the recruitment process, which has been ongoing since January 18, 2024, 124 applications have been received so far.

Poultry, cattle and pig breeders who have insured their animals against the risk of salmonellosis can benefit from this assistance. Applicants for support must also have the right to dispose of the property on which agricultural activity is carried out. In addition, the insurance contract or policy attached to the application should cover at least: 1,000 pieces of slaughtered chickens, geese, turkeys or laying poultry, 14 pieces of pigs or 4 pieces of cattle.

The co-financing is in the form of 70%. subsidies to the premium paid, provided that the contract or policy stipulates that compensation will be paid in the event of damage that exceeds 20%. animal production. It is also important that the insurance period cannot begin before April 1, 2022, and the person applying for funding has not been granted other insurance subsidies.

Over PLN 80 million for the promotion of food produced in quality systems

From 18 mark 2024 r. you can apply for funding for promotional, informational and marketing activities related to food production under quality systems. Funds for this purpose come from the budget of the Strategic Plan for the Common Agricultural Policy for 2023-2027. At the application stage, those interested in assistance have the right to apply for an advance payment.

Documents are accepted only via the ARiMR Electronic Services Platform from January 19 to March 18, 2024. It is worth knowing that those applying for support may apply for an advance payment of up to 50% at the application stage. They are not required to provide bank guarantees, only security in the form of a blank promissory note.

This financial assistance is addressed to producer groups that produce food. They can operate, for example, as a cooperative, agricultural club, producer organization, consortium or civil partnership.

Financing takes the form of a refund of up to 70%. eligible costs, and you can receive up to PLN 1.75 million for one operation. In total, over PLN 80 million was allocated for co-financing under this call for proposals.

The support is intended to increase recognition and to show consumers the advantages of products manufactured under quality systems, e.g. Protected Designation of Origin, organic farming, “Quality Tradition” or “Quality Meat Program”.

The funds granted can be used to cover part of the costs, e.g. advertising in the media, promotion at sales points, preparation of stands and marketing materials, or participation in shows, exhibitions or fairs. The funding also covers setting up and administering a website to promote products.

Support for water protection against nitrates

Until March 20, 2024 you can apply for funds for “Investments aimed at protecting water against nitrate pollution from agricultural sources”. The funding comes from the budget of the Rural Development Program for 2014-2020.

Agricultural producers who breed or breed farm animals may apply for financial assistance. However, the support is not available to owners of poultry farms over 40,000. stands and pigsties with more than 2,000 places for pigs weighing over 30 kg or more than 750 places for sows. However, entities breeding or breeding farm animals up to and including 210 DJP are obliged in the current calendar year to adjust the area or capacity of places where natural fertilizers are stored to the requirements set out in the “Programme of actions aimed at reducing water pollution with nitrates originating from agricultural sources and preventing further contamination.”

The aid limit for one farmer and one farm throughout the entire implementation period of the Rural Development Program for 2014-2020 is PLN 150,000. zloty. The standard funding level is 50%. eligible costs, and in the case of an investment implemented by the so-called young farmer – 60 percent

The support received can be used, among others, for: for the construction, reconstruction or purchase of both tanks for storing liquid natural fertilizers and plates for storing solid natural fertilizers, and in the case of young farmers, also tanks or plates for storing silage. Financing is also available for the purchase of new machines and equipment for applying natural liquid fertilizers.

Documents from February 20 to March 20, 2024 are accepted by regional branches and district offices of ARiMR. Applications can be delivered in person or by an authorized person, sent by registered mail posted at a Poczta Polska branch or via the ePUAP mailbox.
