Already this year, beef cattle producers can apply for support to purchase a purebred beef bull that will be used for reproduction in a herd of beef cattle.
In response to the letter of the President of PZHiPBM asking about the activation of the above-mentioned aid, the Ministry of Agriculture informs about the dates and details of the aid.
Recruitment for co-financing for the purchase of breeding bulls of meat breeds will begin soon (…). I would like to thank Ministers Czesław Siekierski and Stefan Krajewski for the decision to launch pro-development support for the sector. I would also like to thank Janusz Kowalski and Anna Gembicka for introducing into the regulation of the Council of Ministers this solution for which we have been fighting for several years. This shows one thing: beef has no political colors and the words “it’s impossible” do not exist. The subsidy will be available to an agricultural producer who purchased, in the year of submitting the application for aid or in the year preceding the year of submitting such an application, at least one purebred beef bull over 13 months of age, for which a zootechnical certificate was issued.
Shopping only from 2024.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development clearly emphasizes that the subsidy may only cover the purchase of a bull made in 2024, i.e. bulls purchased last year may be subsidized.
The mentioned support will be de minimis aid in agriculture. the amount of aid will be calculated as the product of the amount of PLN 5,000 and the number of bulls purchased, but not greater than the quotient of the average number of cows on the farm and the number of 30.
Applications will be accepted at ARiMR district offices no later than November 30 of a given year, on a form that the Agency will soon make available on its website.
