geotagged photos can be replaced with statements
The Ministry of Agriculture announces that in 2024, statements can be used instead of geotagged photos to confirm the implementation of two practices under the eco-scheme “Carbon farming and nutrient management”.

Which practices can be confirmed through statements?

Through statements instead of geotagged photos, farmers can confirm the following practices under the Carbon Farming and Nutrient Management eco-scheme in 2024:

  • mixing manure on arable land within 12 hours of its application;
  • using natural liquid fertilizers using methods other than splashing.

Farmers can confirm the implementation of these practices either by taking geotagged photos or by submitting a declaration on the implementation of the practice to the head of the district office of the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture.

When to make statements or upload geotagged photos?

A farmer who has implemented a given practice will be able to submit statements or send geotagged photos in the year of submitting the payment application, but:

  • before the date of submission of the application or before March 15 – the photo/statement should be submitted immediately, but no later than 14 days from the date of submission of this application;
  • after the date of submission of the application – the photo/statement should be submitted within 14 days from the date of completion of the internship, but no later than November 7 of the year in which the application was submitted.

Manure can now be transported to the field. Do you need to take photos again this year?

Breeders will be happy. They will get more money under the eco-scheme
