Farmers are protesting on Lubuskie roads, and traffic is very difficult – mainly due to blocked border crossings in Świecko and Gubinek. Further blockades – in Świebodzin and Żagań counties – were announced for Wednesday.
- The border crossings in Świecko at the A2 and Gubinek are blocked. The entrance to Germany is completely blocked on all lanes.
- The protest is scheduled to last until Wednesday. 22:00.
- Further lockdowns are scheduled for Wednesday. They will cover national and provincial roads. In Świebodzin County, farmers plan to block as many as ten places.
In the Świebodzin commune these will be: Roundabout at ul. Międzyrzecka at the entrance to the S3 Świebodzin Północ junction (planned blocking hours: 09:00 – 18:00), Rondo Kresowe, intersection of the K92 road with Wojska Polskiego Street and Stara K3 (09:00 – 18:00) and Rondo Ofiar Wołynia at the entrance to the S3 Świebodzin Południe junction (09:00 – 18:00)
In the Szczaniec commune, the K92 road (kilometer 57) will be blocked. The planned lockout hours are 07:00 – 19:00. In the Skąpe commune – DW276 road in Radoszyn (planned blocking hours: 09:00 – 18:00) and DW276 road in Węgrzynice (09:00 – 18:00).
In the Lubrza commune, the DK92 road will be blocked at the intersection to Bucze and Zagórze (to the viaduct towards Mostka. Planned blocking hours: 09:00 – 18:00). In the Łagów commune, the DK92 road on the Gronów-Poźrzadło section (09:00 – 18:00). In the Zbąszynek commune – road in Chlastawa towards Nądno (crossing and blockade of road 302, planned blocking hours: 09:00 – 18:00), Dąbrówka Wlkp. – blockade on Główna Street at the border of the commune, towards Zbąszyń (planned hours locks: 09:00 – 18:00).
Świebodzin police officers will secure the protest sites – said the spokesman for the Świebodzin police, Asst. Marcin Ruciński.
Blockades are also planned on Wednesday in the Żagań district. The blockades will take place in Iłów from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The A18 motorway is to be blocked. The motorway exit from Olszyna to Wrocław will be passable at the junction with the DW296 road. However, the exit for those going towards Wrocław will be completely blocked. The section of A18 towards Wrocław, including the exit and the DW296 road at the Iłowa junction will be blocked.
Protesters will not block the DW296 road. However, alternating traffic will be introduced there, which will significantly hamper traffic and may cause traffic jams.
