The next farmers’ protest was announced for February 9. Demonstrations will take place all over the country. Currently, over 150 places have been reported where farmers will protest. Check where the strikes will take place in your area.
It seems that the farmers’ protest announced for February 9 will be slightly smaller than the demonstrations that took place on January 24 all over the country.
The map of protests is constantly growing
By January 6, over 150 places where protests will take place were reported. But this is not the end – until tomorrow, i.e. two days before the start, the organizers can still register assemblies.
Considering how large the mobilization is on social media, you can almost be sure that the number of places where protests will take place will exceed 200.
Farmers emphasize at every step that the protests are organized from the bottom up. They do not want to go out under the banners of unions or parties. They point out that it does more harm than good.

Farmers are calling for support from other industries
The Association of Individual Farmers of Warmia and Mazury appealed for representatives of other industries to join the protest.
As an agricultural association, we would like to appeal to every enterprise, company, legal entity from the financial sector or sole proprietorship that bases its operations to a greater or lesser extent on the agricultural industry to support its service recipients and clients in agricultural protests. Farmers started a rebellion in the name – not only of their farms – but also of your activities. The mechanism operating in the agricultural sector without a single link will die a natural death, they wrote on Facebook. – In this case, the participation of entities earning a living from the agricultural sector is not just a polite gesture on your part, but a literal obligation. Therefore, on behalf of farmers, we are asking for decisive and visible support in our activities. Give US a helping hand – they add.
Farmers increasingly emphasize that they need society’s support, otherwise their actions will be ineffective. They emphasize that their protests are not only in defense of agriculture, but also consumers.
Just look at France, where farmers’ protests are met with great support from consumers who seem to understand that their food security depends primarily on domestic farmers and cannot be based solely on imports.
We also talked about this with farmers during our Direction Innovation conference in Swarzędz. We invite you soon to a series of conversations in which we will present you different perspectives on farmers’ protests, as well as the ideas farmers have for stabilizing the market.
