Protesting farmers blocked the border crossings in Świecko and Gubinek. The blockades were planned for four days. The Lubusz police direct cars to alternative roads.
The blockade of the A2 in Świecko began on Sunday around 1:00 p.m. Traffic on the A2 motorway near Słubice was blocked in both directions. Then farmers blocked the border crossing in Gubinek.
Trucks can use the border crossing in Olszyn at all times.
Due to the blockade of the border crossing in Gubinek from 8.00 p.m. the police from Krosno Odrzańskie recommend a detour for trucks over 7.5 tons via DK27 to the border crossing in Olszyn.
At the Piastów Śląskich Roundabout in Zielona Góra, police officers direct vehicles over 7.5 tons onto DK27 towards Żary and Żagań. Trucks will not go towards Krosno Odrzańskie.
The end of the agricultural block on the A2 in Świecko and Gubinek was planned by the organizer for Wednesday, March 20, at 20:00.
