Despite great uncertainty on the ISW stock exchange, today’s session of the major stock exchange did not bring a revolution on the market. The rate set at the end of February will apply at least until next Wednesday.
Let us remind you: the last two sessions of the ISW stock exchange ended with a decline in prices of fattened pigs. Over the course of the week, they dropped by 6 euro cents.
Fortunately, this trend did not translate into VEZG’s quotations. Today’s session – like the previous three – ended with the result being determined EUR 2.20 per kilogram of fattened pig with a meat content of 57%.
Converted into the national currency (according to today’s euro exchange rate: 1 EUR = 4.32 PLN), the rate on a large stock exchange is EUR 9.50 per kilogram.
At the beginning of the week, on the domestic market, a class E fattened pig was valued at approximately PLN 9.05 net per kilogram, while live animals cost an average of PLN 7.05 net per kilogram.

Over the past year, prices of fattened pigs on a large stock exchange ranged from EUR 2.00 to EUR 2.62 per kilogram. It is worth mentioning that the upper value is also the historical maximum price.
