
Breeders have only until March 21 to submit to ARiMR specific annexes to the area application for 2023, in which they declared accession to selected variants of the Animal Welfare ecoscheme.
Dairy cattle breeders and beef cattle producers who decided last year to implement selected variants of the Animal Welfare ecoscheme are obliged to provide the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture with appropriate declarations on template forms provided by ARiMR.
What documents must be provided to ARIMR?
The documents that must be submitted by dairy and beef cattle owners between March 15 and March 21, 2024 include:
- Range register or Statement on the provision of a range for dairy cows – in the case of implementation of the practice, providing a range as part of the Welfare of dairy cows variant,
- Register of a range or Declaration on the provision of a range for suckler cows (including calves, heifers and fattening animals with a body weight of up to 300 kg of the meat type or a combined type with a meat purpose of use) – if the practice is implemented, providing a range as part of the Welfare of suckler cows variant kept indoors or in buildings,
- Range register or Declaration on the provision of an area for fatteners – in the case of implementing the practice, providing an area as part of the Fattener’s welfare option,
- Register of dates for weaning calves – if the practice is implemented, later weaning of calves as part of the Welfare of dairy cows variant,
- Declaration on ensuring that animals are kept on litter – in the case of the practice of keeping animals on litter, under the following variants: Welfare of sows, Welfare of pigs for fattening, Welfare of dairy cows, Welfare of suckler cows kept in rooms or buildings, Welfare of fattening animals.
