
The General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways announced that due to the farmers’ protest in the province. In the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, exits and entrances to the A1 motorway are blocked at the Lubicz, Turzno and Grudziądz junctions. The blockades also include national and express roads – S5, S10, dk 10, 15 and 80.
The Bydgoszcz branch of GDDKiA informed that on Wednesday morning the farmers’ protest resulted in, among other things, blocking exits and entries to the A1 at the Lubicz junction, or the S5 road from the Maksymilianowo junction to Rynarzewo.
Karol Kantorski from the press office of the information and analysis department of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship informed that the protest at the junction in Lubicz is to last until 5 on Thursday. The blocking of the Grudziądz junction began on Wednesday morning.
According to information from GDDKiA and the Voivodeship Office, the S10e route is blocked in both directions from the Bydgoszcz Błonie junction to the Bydgoszcz Południe junction.
The S5 route is blocked in both directions from the Maksymilianowo junction to the Rynarzewo junction.
Agricultural vehicles are on both S5 roadways, police direct users to access and local roads. Possible entry to Bydgoszcz from Nakło dk 10 at the Bydgoszcz Zachód junction – Kantorski informed.
Entrances to the S5 expressway are blocked at the Rogowo junction. On the dk 80 route between Toruń and Bydgoszcz, you can use a detour through the parking lot to bypass the blockade. The roundabout on road 15 in Gronowo is also blocked. The intersection in Lubicz Dolny is blocked on dk 10. The detour has been designated via local roads.
A column of tractors is slowly passing on DK 91 between Turzno and Otańczyn.
Farmers’ demands include: the need to simplify and limit the requirements of the Green Deal; limiting the excessive inflow of agri-food products from Ukraine and improving the profitability of agricultural production. The Ministry of Agriculture indicates that agricultural protests already took place in the fall of 2023 and emphasizes that they were the result of mistakes made by its predecessors. The ministry said it was carrying out activities in the areas raised by farmers.
