
On Monday, farmers are blocking roads in the Płońsk area, including national road No. 7 to Kroczew, the entrance to national road No. 10 and the exit from this route in Siedlin. The blockades are expected to last until Wednesday night. The police appeal to people to choose alternative routes.
On Monday at noon, the spokeswoman of the District Police Headquarters in Płońsk, Komm. Kinga Drężek-Zmysłowska, said that due to the farmers’ protests, the national road No. 7 from Płońsk to the town of Kroczewo is almost completely blocked, and in places where the passage is blocked , such as in the town of Przyborowice, approximately every hour, protesters allow a dozen or so cars to pass.
Due to agricultural protests, the roundabout on national road No. 50 – Węzeł Poświatne is also blocked, the exit from national road No. 7 to national road No. 10 near Siedlin is blocked, as well as traffic in the opposite direction, the viaduct over national road No. 7 from side of the town of Nowe Miasto along provincial road No. 632.
– Entrance to Płońsk is only possible via ul. Podmiejska – said Kom. Drężek-Zmysłowska. She also suggested that drivers wanting to reach Warsaw should choose alternative routes. She added that the police organize detours in places where possible.
– Please follow the instructions given by traffic managers – appealed the spokeswoman of the Płońsk police. She emphasized that the agricultural road blockade near Płońsk, which began on Monday, was announced until 2.00 on Wednesday, February 28.
