In the Lublin Voivodeship, farmers are currently blocking not only all border crossings with Ukraine, but also expressways.
Today, agricultural protests continue not only at border crossings, but also on national expressways in the region. Information from the Provincial Police Headquarters in Lublin shows that tractor convoys or pedestrian blockades are expected in Kraśnik and Świdnica poviats.
Farmers still at the border
All road crossings with Ukraine in the region are still blocked. In Chełm County, farmers are to go on strike until March 9 in the town of Okopy, in the Dorohusk commune, at the intersection of national road No. 12 and provincial road No. 816. In Hrubieszów County, border crossings in Zosin and Dołhobyczów are blocked. There is also an ongoing blockade of the crossing in Hrebenne, Tomaszów County, which, according to reports, will end on March 10, reports the Lublin Police Headquarters.

Tractors on the road
According to Assistant Commissioner Kamil Karbowniczek, agricultural protests are also taking place today in the Kraśnik district, where tractors are blocking the intersection of the S-19 road with the national road No. 19, in the town of Wilkołaz. In Kraśnik itself, farmers are blocking the intersection of ul. Przemysłowa and ul. Janowska, along national road No. 19. Both protests are to be held until the end of the month.
In the Świdnica poviat, the road junction at the intersection of the S-17 and S12 routes in Piaski will last until March 15. “Agricultural tractors will periodically leave the DK-17 road and move through the roundabout in Piaski, ul. Lubelska, to the roundabout at the Piaski Wchód junction, and then they will return along the same route to the parking lot at ul. Zamojska in Piaski.” – reports the Provincial Police Headquarters in Lublin.
